What is the size of the bale that this makes?
The bale chamber is 13.5 x 17.5 inches. You can make a bale as short as 16 inches or as long as 51 inches. These parameters will make a bale that weighs anywhere between 35-55 pounds depending on moisture content and material type.
Why does this baler cost so much more than a TX31 mini round baler?
Square balers are significantly larger machines with more moving parts compared to the TX31 mini round baler. However, they have a much higher output efficiency, achieving almost four (4) times the bale production rate of the TX31. The cost to ship a square baler is also higher than it is with a mini round baler because it carries a larger footprint and cannot be shipped in a standard semi truck.
Does it come assembled?
Yes! This baler comes fully assembled and ready to bale upon arrival. We highly recommend taking a close look at the machine to make sure everything is ready to go just as you will do when you go out to bale in the future. This is a great habit to make sure everything is set up properly and that you have a smooth baling process. We also recommend giving us a call to talk through your new machine to ensure you have a great first experience with it.
How much maintenance is required?
Preventative maintenance is important to perform on any agricultural machine or farm equipment for longevity of that implement. Simple greasing, oil changes, and checking that any chains or other moving components aren’t loose or showing signs of wear will dramatically help lengthen the life of any implement. These machines will last a lifetime with proper use and maintenance.
How does the warranty work and where do I take it for repair?
This baler comes with a manufacturer's one-year defective parts replacement warranty. You can take this baler to just about any agricultural repair shop or service center, as it uses a familiar design. The manufacturer does not cover warranty labor, so if you’re mechanically inclined, you might choose to perform maintenance or service work yourself. Our customer support staff is very knowledgeable about these machines and can assist via phone and/or email support.

Does it have an overload protection system?
There are four different shear bolts which break sacrificially to protect a different component of the baler if there is some sort of obstruction. Power is transmitted through the baler mostly with chains and sprockets, but the pickup is powered with a belt. If there is an obstruction in the pickup, the belt will slip to prevent damage to vital components.
What is the shipping charge for this baler?
Due to their size, these balers ship via flatbed truck. Shipping rates are calculated based on distance from our warehouse and are subject to change from time to time depending on fuel prices and shipping rates from carriers. Your sales representative can help provide you with the best rate possible once it’s almost time to have your baler delivered. We also offer free pickup from our warehouse as an option.
How does it ship?
These balers ship on a flatbed trailer. To unload the baler you will back your tractor onto the trailer, hitch the baler up to the tractor, and drive off.
Does it come with twine?
Yes, this baler comes with two rolls of poly twine already installed in the twine chamber for you.
