Selecting the Right Mini Round Baler

With all the options out there it can be challenging to figure out which baler fits your needs best. Follow through our selection guide to see what baler we recommend for you!

LET'S CHOOSE A BALER!

Net wrap or Twine wrap?

While twine wrapping is the most economical choice, net wrap is faster, more weather resistant, better for frequent handling, and makes a better looking bale.

Net Wrap

TTD proudly offers two sizes of net wrap to fit all your baling needs. 3300' and 5000' that can be purchased by the roll or in bulk.

Rope pull or electronic discharge?

Electronic push button control to discharge the bale requires less physical effort and does not require twisting to grasp and pull rope.

Rope Pull

This is the most affordable net baler on the market and is recommended for customers who want a higher baling capacity of up to 120 bales per hour.

Electronic Discharge

This is as close as you can get to a “plug and play” baler. It simply connects to the tractor’s 3 point hitch, and its hydraulics are completely self-contained, meaning no messy hydraulic connections to deal with. It uses standard, inexpensive baler net wrap.

Twine Wrap

TTD carries a variety of twine options ranging form premium polypropylene twine by Winmore, and high-quality natural hemp twine to fit all your needs.

Finally, you can control the quality of your hay by baling when the hay is at peak nutritional value, instead of when the farmer down the road gets around to it.

Electronic Discharge

It uses standard, inexpensive baler twine, either plastic or natural fiber. It can be easily run with tractors of less than 25 horsepower. And its small size means it can be easily stored in the corner of the barn or shed.
