PTO Shaft Cutting Secrets Revealed!
When it comes to PTO shafts for implements, there is no such thing as “one size fits all”. One of the unfortunate things about selling our equipment all over the US is that we cannot cut your PTO shaft to length before it is delivered to you. That is a job that simply must be done specifically for your tractor. And for every brand and model of tractor the proper length for the PTO shaft can be different.
Properly cutting a PTO shaft, however, has traditionally been a frustrating, trial-and-error process… until now. Scott, our Operations Manager, has once and for all solved this problem for our customers (and anyone else with an internet connection) with a brand new video tutorial. I think Scott could have had a successful career as a NASA engineer or flight instructor – he has a gift for providing the necessary details. OK, so he’s not teaching you how to fix the filter on the space capsule, but for anyone who has ever struggled with this process, I think you will find his new video to be a breath of fresh air, so to speak. (If you prefer paper, he has also produced a DOWNLOADABLE PDF you can print out.) Enjoy!
