Come Visit Pat and Tommy at the Sunbelt Expo!

Tractor Tools Direct will have a booth at this year’s Sunbelt Ag Expo from October 17-19 in Moultrie, GA. TTD’s Founder and President Pat Goodwin along with Sales Manager Tommy Whiteman, will be there to answer any questions you might have regarding our equipment. Known as “North America’s Premier Farm Show” this event showcases more than 1200 exhibitors through informational booths, educational seminars and demonstrations. We will be housed in the Agribusiness Building in booth AB4-17 and will be featuring our pine straw baling equipment—the TXP33 Mini Round Baler with net wrap and 3-point hitch by Abbriata. However, if your interests lie more in the agricultural sector, we will have plenty of information available about our other implements. Be sure to stop by!

Meet the Hosts of our Sunbelt Expo Booth

Sunbelt Expo.

Tractor Tools Direct’s Founder and President, Pat Goodwin, has a BS degree in engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and several years of experience in engineering consulting and farming. This wealth of knowledge has helped him build a successful business from the ground up. His interest in starting TTD began when he spent several years searching for the best equipment for his small farm. He’d always preferred compact tractors for their improved maneuverability, fuel sipping characteristics, and of course, lower cost. Unfortunately, he had a lot of trouble finding good equipment for making hay with his small tractors. It seemed like most manufacturers and equipment dealers focused on big farm tractors and the equipment that fit them.

Then one day while researching, he found out about compact hay balers. In Italy, farms are smaller and hillier and require the use of smaller equipment. These “mini” balers could be operated with tractors as small as 16 horsepower, were exceptionally well engineered and built, and were more affordable to boot. He liked them so much, he didn’t just buy one, he decided to start a business selling them to others. Now, several years later, Pat has expanded the business to include many types of compact-tractor equipment from balers and mowers, to tillers and harrows and is proud to operate under the motto that “compact tractors do real work”.

Sales Manager Tommy Whiteman grew up in Indiana farm country and spent vacations with family in Texas on their horse and cattle ranch. He earned a degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Indiana State University and began his sales career handling farm accounts for a major automotive parts retailer. He joined Tractor Tools Direct this year and is heading up the sales department and helping with technical support as needed. When not at TTD, Tommy drums professionally for several area bands and enjoys working on cars.

Come meet both Pat and Tommy at the Sunbelt Expo in Moultrie, GA from October 17-19!
